SURPRISE! I'M HOME! And man does it feel GoOd to be here. I had a pretty good ride home, both before and after my connection in Chicago. For little planes, First Class isn't at all what I thought it'd be like...but it was still awesome having a big seat. I sat by some interesting people: on the plane from Portland to Chicago, I sat by an old Hawaiian lady, and she was quite funny. She looked at the bag I was holding and asked me, "You going home to Maui, too?" I had to laugh at that...she thought I lived in Hawaii! I told her no and that I lived in Utah. Then she said, "Oh, well, we sell a lot of those bags back home." I was confused then because my bag said Old Orchard Beach, MAINE on it...then I realized her mistake and told her that it said Maine on it, not Maui. Then she laughed for, quite literally, about five minutes! It was a fun time! On the plane from Chicago to Salt Lake, I sat by an old rich man, to my right. He sure did like to talk...as he talked and talked I felt like he was saying, "Welcome to the Life of a Rich Man", because all he talked about was his job, his travels and what he should do for his retirement. Wow!
So, like I said before, it is good to be home! I already unpacked completely last night, so today I've got things to do. Megan Toone and I need to go to the D.I. to find some Button Up Shirts for Trek this week. We're going to have a fun time together and catch up and stuff. The closer it gets to August 15th, the sadder I get. That's when my Bestest Friends are leaving me for Utah State! :( Oh how I'm going to MISS THEM SO MUCH!!! In college you make lots of new friends and you lose some old ones...But I refuse to let that happen with my these best friends going up to USU. Other than that sad, sad thing about college coming up so quickly, day by day I get a tiny bit more excited for the day I go down to UVU. It will be a fun and great new experience in my life. But that's not quite yet, I've got 3 more weeks to think about "how it's going to be."
