Unforgettable

New Moon.

It was so good and I am so very pleased with it. The first in the series, Twilight, was super cheesy and not so well made, not to mention that the acting wasn't very appealing! They made New Moon just about perfect; it obviously lacks a little, it is a movie made from a book, after all. I was worried going into it--but very excited, at the same time--about how it would turn out. I had no reason to worry. My opinion may be just my own on this, let me know, because I know a majority of you will see it soon enough! Just know, I, Chelsea, thought it was awesome! :)

On October 6, me, Kim and Michelle decided it would be a wonderful idea to go to New Moon's midnight showing as a roommate activity. All of our roommates agreed, even though some aren't die-hard fans. That night we bought tickets, even though the midnight showingS (yes, more than one...so many showing and most all were sold out, even on October 6, more than a month before.) We're a little bit crazy, but no matter what time we went we just wanted to have fun together...no matter what it was going to be an interesting experience. I am not awesome at staying up late; in truth, I hate it, because I am one that really enjoys, and needs, my sleep! We got tickets for the 3:15 am showing at the Cinemark theater by University Mall in Orem. We're not crazy, we just wanted to try something new. Don't judge me.

Kim, Michelle and I--The Three Musketeers (pretty much)--have been so excited, basically every day. I had control of most of the tickets the whole time, so I would see them every time I would open my wallet. When it was getting closer to the awaited day, we decided we would make shirts like crazy fans. Kim and I made sweatshirts and Michelle and Melanie had shirts...no one else participated. I know you're probably thinking we wrote "I love Edward" or "Jacob is da bomb". Well, you're wrong! There's an Edward Team and a Jacob Team, and I understand that because those are the two who are very main characters and they're the ones who are fighting for Bella's heart, but what about all the other guys? They're special, too. Chelsea: Team Jasper. Kim: Team Mike. Michelle: Team Embry. Melanie: Team Emmett. YES! You've got to be a fan to know who each of those fellows are; congrats if you do! We're just cool.

Thursday, November 19 finally came: I WAS SO EXCITED! I had finally finished my New Moon merchandise the day before, so I was beyond ready. I had planned on sleeping for a few hours before we had to leave, but only got an hour and a half in. I was just way too excited to fall asleep for too long! Most all of us were asleep or just resting between 10 pm and 12 am, so we had to wake up and get ready to go. We did just that and piled into two different cars (there were 9 of us going.) I was in the Party Car: we listened to the same song 4 times in a row on our way to the theater! We were there 2 hours early, so we had to wait in line outside for a little while, in the cold, and eventually we got to wait in a line inside and then FINALLY we got to go sit in our seats!:) I may or may not have fallen asleep on the sidewalk AND the Theater's lobby floor while waiting for 3:00 am to roll around. The whole 2 hours of waiting went by SO slowly. I would seriously look at the clock and then what would feel like an hour later, it would have only been 11 minutes or so; it was ridiculous. It was so much fun, but I would never do it again, mainly for the fact of how dead tired I am today!

After the BEAUTIFUL movie, we went to IHOP...I felt nauseous, but I ordered something anyway. Have you ever been to IHOP at 5:30 in the morning? Well, try it some time because it's surprisingly not too busy! When we went to pay, Kim was first and I was second...her card was declined (really declined) so I got the privilege of paying for her. Silly Kim.

Overall, the whole night [early morning] was so worth it and so incredibly fun...but you won't catch me doing it again. No way. Oh, and, trust me that New Moon was so great.
