I
Love
Quesadillas!
So, I had a Christmas Wish-list, which I distributed to my family, and the things on the list were what I expected to get for Christmas, more or less...whatever. As Christmas goes, you wake up, do presents and then you're done and THEN you can eat breakfast. Strange thing happened this year: that's not how it went down.
My Aunt and Uncle were here from Boise visiting for Christmas, so it was me, Mom, Devin and Liz (and Dexter, Zepplin and Gonzo.) They told me I wasn't allowed to wake up early; I said I can't control when I wake up, because waking up early on Christmas morning just kind of happens without trying.
Anyway.
For starters, I haven't felt well all week, so my sleeping time has not been the best, and without fail, I wake up multiple times throughout the night and need a drink of water. This same pattern happened christmas eve night. I woke up at 3:30 and considered it "too early"; I went back to sleep. I woke up at 4:03...too early. I woke up at 4:30...TOO EARLY. It was getting ridiculous how much I was waking up, especially so close together. I was woken up for the last time around 7:45 to loud stomping and jingling coming up the stairs: Zepplin and Gonzo were officially awake, meaning Devin and Liz were awake, MEANING, I could get out of bed and not get in trouble for it! I fixed my hair a little and made my way out of my room.
SIDE NOTE: Every time I woke up in the night, I realized how badly I had to go to the bathroom, but because I knew I wasn't allowed to wake up and stay up, I controlled my bladder and forced myself to go back to sleep each time. When I finally woke up and got up, naturally, I ran to the bathroom!
Okay, so waking up on Christmas morning means immediately opening stockings and then on to the presents? Yes, usually, but like I said, it was an unusual Christmas. My uncle, Devin, couldn't get food off his mind, so we waited for Cinnamon Rolls to bake, and then Liz (my aunt) took a shower and then and then and THEN....there was just so much putting off going on.
Finally, stockings and presents came...and went...I was satisfied. "Thank you for everything."
My favorite gift: QUESADILLA MAKER!
Which is the reason why I love quesadillas so much!
On Christmas Eve, my mom had to run to the store to grab a couple of last minute things (her advice: never go to any store on Christmas Eve. Not fun.) While at the store, she found the Quesadilla Maker, thinking I'd like it. Little did she know I'd love love love it! I've had at least one quesadilla everyday since Christmas! Yum! The funnest part about it is experimenting and putting different things in the quesadilla. My favorite so far is chicken, cheese and corn. mmmMMM! :)
And, how was your Christmas???

CHELSEA!
I got a quesadilla maker for christmas too!!!!! It's so great! I use it every single day. My favorite thing to do is make grilled cheese in it with string cheese. Also, try putting nutella and peanut butter in between bread and then putting it in the maker. It's so amazingly great.
