A Story of a Maggot and an Earthworm!

The day after my 16th birthday was a whole day with Megan.

Megan "Maggot" Toone is my best friend. Ever since I moved here, to the current house I live in, in 5th grade, she has always been such a friend to me. We've had our ups and we've definitely had our downs. We have numerous inside jokes and no matter how many times we fight, I'll always love her. She helps me makes right choices and she is such an example to me. No matter what we're doing, we always have fun. All this good stuff and it's hard to believe there's any bad...true friends fight, but they always make up.

Megan's leaving for college tomorrow and I'm going to miss her like crazy. She's my BFF; how am I going to survive?! On the other hand, all the time that we're apart will make seeing each other SO much for fun and happy. She's moving up to Utah State University and I'm moving down to Utah Valley University; we'll be about 2 hours apart. Sad Day!:(

Those pictures above are of us having fun throughout our high school years...there's so many more where those came from. She may be leaving me tomorrow, and even though we'll be apart, we'll continue to stay in touch and we'll always be best friends.

As I type this post and read back over it when I pause...well, it sounds really cheesy!!! With that said and out of the way, the real point of this post is to let everyone know that Megan's leaving me tomorrow to gain an education and I'm going to miss her so so so very much because she's my best friend, my partner in crime. She is Maggot and I am Earthworm!

Put Your Shoulder To The Wheel!

Trek=Fun Time!
I returned from an adventurous Pioneer Trek yesterday evening and I had quite the good time. This was the second time I was able to go on Trek and even though my legs are in pain, I don't regret going again. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. My family was awesome: 13 people, including Ma and Pa Murri. I was the oldest this time, compared to last time being the youngest; it made things a lot different. We didn't walk nearly as much as I thought we were going to: only about 15 miles throughout the whole 3 days. The food was fabulous and the activities were worth every minute! If I ever have the chance, I would definitely say "YES" to being a Ma!

My first trek experience: My family on the Right and my "Cousin" family on the left!
Good Times!:)
