Inner Struggle.

It sure is hard to do the things that you HAVE to,

when there's things out there that you WANT to do...

the things that you could do all day long and never get bored of it...

What are those things for you??

For me:
I wish I could read all day. Any book, any time. All the time. That's how much I have learned to love it this year, 2010.
I'd take walks whenever and wherever, alone or not.
I would listen to all my favorite music, and even find something new.
If I had all day, I'd write in my journal about everything, and I would write lots of letters to Brian and my friends on missions.
I wish I could lay on my bedroom floor, in the dark, in the silence, and think.
I would paint. It's my secret love that I never actually do.

Probably more things, too.

A day filled with those things would be lovely.
A lifetime filled with {some of} those things daily would be even more lovely.

Aw, life...it's hard to do hard things...

Alive

I'm still alive,

I just took a nice, long break from this....

Just...Because!

SUMMER

What do I do? What have I done?

I search for a job...because I need one, badly!

If I don't find one, I have to put a hold on my education! :(

Other than the dreadful activity of a Job-Search...

I play and I think and I read.

I miss living with all my roommates, but at the same time I enjoy living at home.

Further plans for my 2010 Summer:
  1. Find a job.
  2. Spend time with Brian...he leaves July 27! :(
  3. New York? {Cross your fingers!}
  4. Adventures with my friends.
  5. Read read read! :)
  6. Saved by the Bell.
  7. Movies.
  8. Smiling til my cheeks hurt.
  9. Laughing til my abs hurt.
  10. Having fun!!!

Another Lil' Pup

Brian wants one of these puppies...

A bull dog is his dream puppy.

Just like how I want a baby Yorkie puppy,

and his name will be Toast...

Baby bull dog puppy's name is Pete.

Aww! :)

I wasn't sold on the idea until I saw this picture (the photo above.)

He's so cute!!!

My aunt Melissa follows rockstar diaries. I came across it once-upon-a-time, but after she mentioned it a few days ago on her blog, I decided to take another look.

and because of my looking again, I found this cute puppy...and I fell in love! :)

I love puppies! I want a real one!

Hey Again.

I was gone for a bit...

But I wasn't too far.

Want to know where I've been?

Okay.

  • Well, I have a new found love for Roller Skating.
  • English papers are hard.
  • I take quite a few naps throughout each week.
  • I'm fond of reading other people's blogs.
  • Brian. :)
  • School is important, so....yeah.
  • Church stuff. I love conference!
  • Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner...plus snacks.
  • Harry Potter....forever!
  • Family--Happy Birthday Heather (tomorrow.)
  • ...and other stuff...lots of other stuff.

Right now I should be researching for my English Paper...

but like I said: English Papers are hard.

I am rather excited for school to be over...

Money Bags???

We all wish we were rich.

Right?

Or else, we just wish we had a little--or a lot--more money,

AT LEAST sometimes.

I'd feel a little funny if I were alone in this,
but frankly {ps: who's frank?} I don't believe I am!

There are many reasons for my wish for more money.

More are added to the list each day.
Occasionally, lucky ones are taken off.

Lucky for me!:)

Today...It's this...

Oh money, why don't you grow on trees?? :(

Sometimes...I wish I was a cat...

Do you ever wish you could be a cat?

They have such easy-going lives, full of napping and playing.

Their lives are like baby lives: eat, sleep and play...except babies grow up and their lives get complicated, like ours are now...cats live simple lives all the way up until they die.

I would love to lay on the floor, right where a ray of sun is beaming, warming your spot and making you feel awesome.

That would be perfect.

Sometimes...I wish I was a cat...

Magic

Hogwarts.

Doesn't this picture look like they're on their way to Hogwarts?

It does to me.

I want to go to Hogwarts! That would be the most magnificent thing EVER.

If it was real and if Magic was real, I'd cry happy tears.

Good magic, not Satan magic, of course.

It has been decided between me, Michelle and Kim that in our own worlds, there will be Good, Harry-Potter-type magic!

Yes. I can't wait.

I Want to Press the Button

This pretty much goes along with my last post, about how excitingly creative I wish I was.

Sooo...I'm set on getting a really nice camera for my birthday.
(Family...this is for you to remember!...)
The reason for this birthday wish, is I want to
take really awesome pictures, and it would just be
so awesome to own a super awesome camera.
(and I would use it!)
Ya know, those black ones with the
big lens and cool focusing skills...? Ya know?
Yeah.

I wanna be professional.
That would rock my socks.

These aren't my photos...these are what I dream of.
I get jealous when I see these.
I love pictures!:)

...Sometimes, I wish I had red hair...

Yes, I do love pictures.

"Smiling is the best currency."

Sometimes, I get this overwhelming urge to be cooler than I am. It's not like I'm bragging, saying, "Wow, I'm so cool," but it's not like I'm boring, either...
ANYWAY...
Really, though.

I have this book called Sark's New Creative Companion: Ways to Free Your Creative Spirit...my Mom (Jen) gave it to me a while back. Every time I look at it I am reminded of how I want to be more creative and more easy going in life. I want to LIVE my LIFE! We can all admit that sometimes it gets hard to be spontaneous and to think out of the box; I wish it wasn't hard.

If I just wish, it's not going to happen. I have to make it happen.

I was following different links that I found on some blogs that I read and reading about random people's lives and I came across someone's that I absolutely fell in love with. I thought, "Good Gravy. How do people get so cool?" It made me a little jealous, yes, but it is also what brought on this urge I'm having. I want to be free and exciting.

Just For One Day:

GO on your travels with just one dollar in your pocket. include walking, nature, relaxation and smiling. smiling is the best currency.

THINK of an advertisement for something you want and put it in a newspaper or up on a tree.

SPEND two hours in a library for pleasure only.

DO everything with your least dominant hand. if you are ambidextrous, do handstands.

"Send love to your fears. welcome your fears! invite
them in, entertain them, and then send them home!"

HOW TO REALLY BE ALIVE!
Live juicy. Stamp out conformity. Stay in bed all day.
Dream of gypsy wagons. Find snails. Develop an astounding
appetite for books. Drink sunsets. Draw out your feelings.
Amaze yourself. Be ridiculous. Stop worrying. NOW. If now
now, then when? Make yes your favorite word. Marry yourself.
Dry your clothes in the sun. Eat mangoes naked. Keep toys
in the bathtub. spin yourself dizzy. Hang upside down. Follow
a child. Celebrate an old person. Send a love letter to yourself.
Be advanced. Try endearing. Invent new ways to love. Transform
negatives. Delight someone. Wear pajamas to a drive in movie.
Allow yourself to feel rich without money. be who you truly are
and the money with follow. Believe in everything. You are always
on your way to a miracle...The miracle is you!

Each day is a new day, but sometimes I don't treat it like one. I'm not the best at getting over things quickly and I'm not perfect at always being cheerful and optimistic. Both are total bummers because, things like that, slow my life down and don't make it as awesome as it could be. I want to be happy, positive and advanced all the time. I don't want to look back at my life and WISH I had done this, or that...I never want to regret.

I'm going to Live.

I am now ALIVE!
Let's do it together!
...I dare you! ;)

If....

If I wrote lyrics to songs, they'd be pretty special. MOST artists who write their own songs (or anyone who writes lyrics, for that matter) write about things that have actually happened to them. How do I know that? Well, let's take a walk down memory lane to my Honors English class Jr. Year to a phrase that Ms. Smith repeated just about every day: WRITERS WRITE WHAT THEY KNOW! But, that's almost common sense...almost!

So, since my life is so action packed and filled with interesting events, I think my songs would be pretty darn great, minus the fact that writing song lyrics/poems isn't my forte. Being a Lyricist is one of those unrealistic dreams I have, along with being an Olympic Figure Skater! It hurts me to the core to think I'll never make it that far! :)

Imagine if I were famous, you would all know a famous person! I'm definitely thinking that would be awesome, I don't know about you. If I was friends with a famous person, I'd feel pretty satisfied with my life. That'd be cool if my face were on a billboard. Can you imagine? Guys, I'm not self-absorbed. I'd like to see any of your faces on a billboard, too! You can't tell me that wouldn't be awesome!

If only, If only. We can always dream!:)

Heat and Warmth...Where have you gone to??

I'm not pretending when I say that it's cold and I'm cold. It is a true fact that I am stating. Right now, I am wearing a long sleeve shirt, my winter coat, my hand knitted mittens (made my aunt Melissa) and a blanket...oh and two pairs of socks...I AM COLD!

Cold is coming; winter is on it's way. The mountain tops are snow covered and the mornings are frosted; what's the date again? Oh yeah: October 5th! I may sound like I'm complaining, but really, I'm loving it. I love this time of year. I love the temperature outside and I love the feeling I get when I step out the door. Yay for 50-60 degrees! Yay for long sleeve shirts, jackets, jeans and gloves! Yay for Autumn! :D

PROVO CANYON SNOW (pretty!)

Some People Should Not Be Put In Charge Of Making Decisions...

It's official...and I really don't think it could get any more official after today: I very much dislike airports and airlines and everything in between!!! I was supposed to head home from Maine earlier today, but someone obviously had different plans for me. I suppose it's meant to be...but whatever the case, I am still in Maine. The flight that I was supposed to be on was overbooked, so of course, with my luck, I was the one who was booted off. They didn't let me on the plane and I had to wait around for almost two hours trying to get things straightened out with the Man at the Gate 2 counter. Stressful hours those were, for sure! I am a sensitive, emotional person, so being put into situations like that just isn't good for me: they wipe me out. After finally getting things sorted out--getting a free round trip ticket for anywhere in the US and my tickets for 7:00 in the morning to go home on FIRST CLASS (all that's a good trade for them almost giving me a nervous breakdown)--I came back to Danny and Brenna's house and crashed on the couch for two and a half hours because I was so emotionaly drained. Please, don't ever make me do that again!
Other than all the messes I've had to deal with at airports trying to get here and go home, this trip has been worthwhile and quite fun. I like Maine; it's nice! It can be expected that I will come back again, I don't know when, but I will...someday. As for the free round trip ticket, I'm thinking New York!:)
